Suma Wholefoods is one of the UK’s largest worker-owned co-operatives. Since 1977, we’ve supplied independent retailers, cafés, foodservice businesses and communities with vegetarian, vegan and responsibly sourced products. Our range includes wholefoods, store cupboard essentials, international foods, organic products and eco-friendly household lines, including our own brands, Ecoleaf by Suma and Alter/Native by Suma. We believe business should be fairer, more sustainable and more transparent. As a worker-owned co-operative, we operate with shared ownership and equal pay, putting people and long-term thinking at the heart of what we do. We’re passionate about supporting independent retail, ethical supply chains and lower-impact living through practical, everyday choices.
